Juventus are considering Sime Vrsaljko or Silvan Widmer as backup to Stephan Lichtsteiner, according to reports.
The Bianconeri are uncertain over the future of Juan Cuadrado, who plays both right wing and right wing-back for Max Allegri’s side.
The Colombian is on loan from Chelsea, but without a buyout clause, and incoming manager Antonio Conte is known to be a big admirer of the former Fiorentina man.

It’s therefore far from certain that the Old Lady will be able to sign Cuadrado this summer, and as such they are looking at other options for the right flank.
Lichtsteiner can play in a back-four or as a wing-back, but the Swiss international is 32, so a rotation option is needed.
Gianluca Di Marzio’s website reports that Udinese’s Silvan Widmer, Lichtsteiner’s compatriot, and Croatian Sime Vrsaljko are the two most likely targets for the summer.
Danilo of Real Madrid is also appreciated by the Juve hierarchy, but would be difficult to get given Los Merengues paid €30m for him just last summer.
