But the Switzerland international has insisted that two wins in their last two games shows that the Sicilian club can survive.

“We believe survival is a duty of ours,” he told reporters. “We have never stopped trying. We showed against Sampdoria” data-scaytid=”5″>Sampdoria that we are very much alive.

“At the moment though, we would still be relegated – but no one will remember that if we were to stay up on May 19.

“Now we face Bologna on Sunday and that will be a tough challenge. They area strong team and will also give everything.”
