Bayer Leverkusen managing director Rudi Voeller praises Roma for their position against the Super League: ‘I called Guido Fienga to thank him.’
Voeller, a former Roma striker, gave an interview to Il Messaggero to comment on the latest developments about the Super League.
“Credit to Friedkin, I am happy they are representing Roma,” the former striker said.

Voeller, a former Roma striker, gave an interview to Il Messaggero to comment on the latest developments about the Super League.
“Credit to Friedkin, I am happy they are representing Roma,” the former striker said.
“We really appreciate their behaviour in Germany. I was in Munich on Tuesday as Bayer faced Bayern, I read their statement that confirmed the commitment to sporting institutions, starting from UEFA.”
Roma insisted theyare firmly against a ‘closed system’ with an official statement published earlier this week.
“I’ve immediately called [Roma CEO] Fienga to express my satisfaction for the choice, and I thanked them.”
