West Ham United midfielder Nikola Vlasic is already in Italy ahead of tomorrow’s medical, now Torino are working to get Aleksei Miranchuk from Atalanta too.

Vlasic flew in this evening and is settling in at a hotel in the centre of Turin, preparing for his Granata medical on Wednesday morning.

That will be a loan with option to buy for a total of circa €15m plus €3m add-ons, just a year on from West Ham spending €30m to buy him from CSKA Moscow.

It is even suggested in Tuttosport that the Croatia international took a €700,000 pay cut in order to push through the transfer.

Now Toro have secured Vlasic, they are working on finalising the details for Miranchuk, a move that has become far more complicated than anyone expected.

Talks have been dragging on for weeks and had seemed to be on the verge of a solution several times only to crumble.

The latest idea is a loan with option to buy at €12-15m, but again the clubs continue to discuss the details of the formula, such as what could make it an obligation to buy.

Atalanta would prefer a permanent sale or some guarantee that Torino will take up their option.
