Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic flew out to Munich today for a medical check-up, while it is reported the Bianconeri want Romelu Lukaku even if the Serbian doesn’t go to Chelsea in exchange.
According to Romeo Agresti, Vlahovic is in Germany to visit specialist doctors over his on-going struggle with lumbago.
Meanwhile, the transfer speculation continues around the negotiations between Chelsea and Juventus.
The Turin giants are demanding a cash sum of circa €40m on top of Lukaku in exchange for Vlahovic.
However, Sportitalia are now suggesting that Juve will continue their pursuit of Lukaku even without handing over Vlahovic as part of the deal.
Chelsea have not even given Lukaku a squad number, confirming he is not part of the group for this season after returning from his loan experience with Inter.
There is another reason why Chelsea could step up their efforts to sign Vlahovic, though, as new signing Christopher Nkunku has been ruled out for at least four months with a serious knee injury.
