Dusan Vlahovic is expected in Turin to undergo his medicals with Juventus and according to Tuttosport, he could pick Cristiano Ronaldo’s No. 7 at the Allianz Stadium.

Vlahovic is still in Florence, waiting to recover from COVID. The striker tested positive last week and will have a new swab test tomorrow.

If it comes back positive again, Juventus will make him sign his contract anyway, given that the striker has already obtained the availability to play at the beginning of the season.

Vlahovic turns 22 tomorrow and hopes to celebrate with a trip to Turin and his medical examinations with his new club.

According to the Turin-based paper, the Serbia international could pick jersey No.7 at Juventus.

Vlahovic is wearing the No.9 shirt at Fiorentina, but that belongs to Alvaro Morata at Juventus.

The Spanish striker is unlikely to join Barcelona in the January transfer window, so Vlahovic may need to wait until the next campaign to wear the No.9 in Turin.

Other jersey numbers available at Juventus are 13, 15, 16, 26, 28, 29 or from 31 onwards, except for Mattia Perin’s 36 and Dejan Kulusevski’s 44.

3 thought on “Vlahovic to pick Ronaldo’s No.7 jersey at Juventus?”
  1. CR7’s fanboys will start monitoring his career and hurling insults at him if he chooses #7.

Can’t wait for him to shut them up with goals.

  2. Hey clown, are you going to get behind him if he has a wobble?

Are you going to say that we must sell him?

With our midfield the same issues will keep continuing. Hey clown face we had CR7, the greatest goal scorer in the game and yet it was not enough. Vlahovic is young and hungry plus maybe more of a team player, but as long as the midfield remains stagnant, the supply line will be severely limited.
