Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic didn’t celebrate after scoring his first goal against Fiorentina, but it was quickly disallowed for offside.

The Serbian finalised a lethal counter-attack in the second half with a chip finish and didn’t celebrate by raising his hands while his teammates ran towards him.

Juventus thought they had doubled their lead, but referee Michael Fabbri disallowed for offside after a silent check. It was such a close call as replays show only the top of Vlahovic’s head was beyond his compatriot Nikola Milenkovic.

It would have been Vlahovic’s first strike against Fiorentina since his €80m transfer a year ago. The Serbia international had faced La Viola three times across all competitions before today’s game but never found the net.

He will have to wait for his eventual first goal against the Tuscans as Max Allegri replaced him with Moise Kean a few minutes after his goal was disallowed. Vlahovic scored  49 goals in 108 appearances with Fiorentina.
