Juventus could sell their leading goalscorer Dusan Vlahovic in the summer if the Serbia international does not commit to a new contract before then, according to reports from Corriere dello Sport on Saturday morning.

Vlahovic sale ‘inevitable’ if Juventus agreement is not found

The 24-year-old is under contract with Juventus until the summer of 2026. Knowing that he will be entering the final year of his deal in the summer, Juventus could look to sell him if an agreement for a new contract is not found in the next few months.

The Bianconeri want to avoid a similar situation to that of Federico Chiesa, who was frozen out of the Juventus squad over the summer just gone when he had one year remaining on his deal.

Juve are prepared to sit down for contract talks with Vlahovic in the near future. Some reports suggest that there could be talks in the coming weeks, while others claim they are more likely to happen in January.

Vlahovic is one of the highest earners in Serie A, and also has significant bonuses included on his deal. Those bonuses are set to increase season-by-season, and a new contract could help the club spread that cost out over several more years.

Vlahovic’s contract is an important topic for Juventus, but not currently heir biggest priority, which for now, is finding a replacement for the injured Bremer.

If the two parties are not able to find an agreement over a contract extension, then Vlahovic’s sale becomes ‘inevitable’ according to Saturday’s report.
