From the fanfare of the Monaco Grand Prix, Dusan Vlahovic underlined Juventus’ ambitions ahead of the 2024-25 season.

The Bianconeri closed out their season with a slight smile after picking up a 2-0 win over Monza, ending a difficult campaign that ultimately saw the end of Massimiliano Allegri’s second spell in the Piedmont capital.

Juventus are now looking ahead to the new season, which’ll likely see Thiago Motta start a fresh project at the club, focusing on developing young talents and trying to restore a positive culture following the downturn of the Allegri era.

Ambitious Vlahovic

Speaking to Sky Sports Italia via Calciomercato.com from the Monaco Grand Prix, Vlahovic spoke about how it felt to be named the best Serie A striker of the season and underlined Juventus’ ambitions ahead of the new season.

“For me it’s important. I want to thank Serie A and, I don’t know if they voted, but also the people. Thank you. We work for this and next year I will have to do better.

“We know what we need to improve and what people expect from the team… at the beginning of the year we have achieved them. We want to do better next year and take what we deserve.”

This term, Vlahovic scored 18 goals and provided three assists in 38 appearances across all competitions for the Old Lady.
