With nine goals in seven league matches in 2024, Dusan Vlahovic has overtaken Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka as the highest goalscorer in Europe’s top five leagues this year.
Serbia international Vlahovic netted twice in Juventus’ 3-2 win over Frosinone on Sunday.
This means the 24-year-old has now collected nine goals in seven Serie A matches this year. He has netted once every 68 minutes and he’s the highest goalscorer in Europe’s top five leagues in 2024.
He is followed by Arsenal star winger Saka, scorer of seven goals in six Premier League matches.
Canada international Jonathan David, who has been linked with Milan and Napoli next summer, has netted six goals in five Ligue 1 appearances with Lille and has netted once every 57 minutes.
Manchester United’s Rasmus Hojlund, Borussia Dortmund’s Niclas Fullkrug and Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane have also netted six goals in league matches so far in 2024.
Vlahovic is under contract at the Allianz Stadium until June 2026 and has scored 15 times in 25 games across all competitions in 2023-24.
