Kaio Jorge was expected to get his first Juventus start against Sassuolo tonight, but according to the latest reports, Massimiliano Allegri will pick Dusan Vlahovic instead.

There were reports that the 22-year-old could rest against the Neroverdi tonight, but according to Romeo Agresti, Vlahovic will start his second game in a row at Juventus.

The Bianconeri host Sassuolo in a Coppa Italia quarter-final clash tonight and the Serbia international will start up front with Alvaro Morata and Juan Cuadrado. Allegri decided on the starting line-up after this morning’s training session at Continassa.

Alex Sandro is also favourite over Luca Pellegrini to start at left-back, while Denis Zakaria, Arthur and Weston McKennie will likely get the nod in the middle of the park.

The Swiss international picked up a knock during the last Serie A match against Hellas Verona but seems to have recovered and is fit to start.

The winners of tonight’s game will face Atalanta or Fiorentina in the semis.

5 thought on “Vlahovic, not Kaio Jorge to start in Juventus vs. Sassuolo”
  1. Kaio needs to settle, he will get plenty of chances since Juve believe in young players.

  2. J10B. Only fool here is you. He started every match for Santos his last season. To try and be condescending while also being completely wrong lol. You’re a waste of a human life.
