Dusan Vlahovic’s goal against Lecce was his 60th in Serie A, putting him in an exclusive goalscoring club alongside Manchester City star Erling Haaland.

The Serbian striker joined Juventus from Fiorentina in January 2022 in a deal worth around €80m total, arriving to much anticipation in Turin. Whilst he’s struggled to replicate his Viola goalscoring exploits with the Old Lady, Vlahovic has still shown his talent and potential on a number of occasions.

Things have not been easy for Vlahovic in recent months, however, and he failed to score in his last 11 Serie A appearances heading into Juventus’ clash with Lecce.

Lega Serie A highlights how Vlahovic’s goal against Lecce was his 60th in Serie A, putting him in the exclusive club of players born after 2000 to score at least 60 goals in Europe’s top five leagues. He managed the feat in 137 appearances in the Italian topflight.

The only other player to achieve this is Haaland, who scored 62 goals in 67 Bundesliga appearances with Borussia Dortmund and 34 goals in 30 Premier League appearances with Manchester City.
