Fiorentina star Dusan Vlahovic is clearly on fire this season and he has scored significantly more league goals than Europe’s top four signings last summer.

The 21-year-old Serbian striker has been linked with a variety of top clubs in recent weeks, like Arsenal, Tottenham, Newcastle United and Juventus, and it’s no surprise considering the incredible numbers that he’s clocking up with the Viola this campaign.

As highlighted by journalist Matteo Bonetti, Vlahovic has scored 16 league goals this season, seven more than Romelu Lukaku, Lionel Messi, Jack Grealish and Jadon Sancho combined.

The Belgian striker has scored five league goals with Chelsea, the Argentinian forward has scored one with Paris Saint-Germain, the English midfielder has netted two with Manchester City and the English winger has scored one with Manchester United.

Vlahovic is currently the Serie A top scorer with his 16 goals and he has taken the most shots out of all players in the Italian top flight with 64.

  1. What a player Vlahovic is becoming. Probably unlikely, but I would love him in the current AC Milan team. He would score even more goals. He would develop further under Pioli. The champion maker!

  2. pioli champion maker? how many championships he won thus far? the only winner at AC milan of today is Ibra who would have been retired a juventus player if it was not for calciopoli

  3. Only the comparison to Lukaku makes sense. The others are not out-and-out strikers, judging them based on goals alone is nonsensical, though messi and sancho have disappointed so far. Not to take anything away from vlahovic, he’s been great.

  4. To be fair Grealish is ginormously overrated. Sancho is suffering misuse at United and Messi only interested in UCL.

Lukaku also missed nearly 2 months injured.

Vlahovic is ballin though. Hope he can be kept in Serie A of if sold outside, fee north of €75MM.

  5. @Dazziano OMG, having Vlahovic on AC Milan…that surely would help them get over a hump and become favored as Serie A champions (and perhaps make deep runs into Champions League). If he can’t be in Fiorentina, AC Milan would be sweet.

  6. Vlahovic would be perfect at Milan, he would grow alongside a squad of a similar age and future champions and could spend the next few seasons learning from Ibra and Giroud, Sadly we and the rest of Serie A teams can not afford him right now, he will go to the premier league which is a shame.
