Only Leo Messi, Robert Lewandowski and Erling Haaland have scored more league goals than Fiorentina star striker Dusan Vlahovic in 2021.

The 21-year-old netted a brace against Atalanta on Saturday, reaching 20 league goals in the calendar year.

That’s more than Cristiano Ronaldo, Romelu Lukaku and Harry Kane have managed so far in 2021.

Ronaldo has scored 19 goals between Manchester United and Juventus, Lukaku managed 16 with Inter and Chelsea while Kean scored 14 with Tottenham.

Real Madrid star Karim Benzema and RB Leipzig’s André Silva have scored just as many goals as Vlahovic and only Messi, Lewandowski and Haaland have more in Europe’s top five leagues.

The Bayern Munich star has scored 30 so far in 2021, Messi 23 and Haaland 22.

Vlahovic has already scored three goals in the 2021-22 Serie A campaign.

His current deal with Fiorentina expires in June 2023, but according to reports in Italy, he could soon sign a contract extension with a €70-80m release clause.
