The problems surrounding a deal for Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface have left Milan in a position to return to the transfer market, and while waiting for a final decision on the Nigeria international, the Rossoneri are back at work and have discussed Dusan Vlahovic again.
Vlahovic decision remains up to Milan
With Boniface looking like an unlikely arrival for Milan this summer, despite his medical in Italy over the weekend, Vlahovic has become Massimiliano Allegri’s preferred candidate to come in at centre-forward again, Football Italia understands.
As was originally reported at the beginning of June, Milan have held initial discussions and have since returned to the topic on several occasions over the last two months.

Now, it is up to Milan as to whether they decide to proceed with a deal for Vlahovic or not.
Finding an agreement with Juventus should not be a major issue, as the Old Lady are prepared to accept an offer in the region of €16m-€17m, with an additional €2m-€3m in bonuses with less than a year remaining on the player’s contract.
If Vlahovic and Milan end up seeing eye to eye, referring specifically to the player’s salary, a deal could be finalised. But, for now, it is a matter of waiting for Milan to take a crucial step in negotiations.

Meanwhile, Conrad Harder from Sporting CP remains on Milan’s list, and the Portuguese side have already accepted an offer from the Rossoneri. Again, it remains up to Milan to take the next step.
Intermediaries have also proposed the idea of signing Tolu Arokodare from Genk.
