Talks between Dusan Vlahovic’s entourage and Juventus are progressing well, and a total agreement could reportedly be on the horizon soon.

The 23-year-old Serbian striker started the new season in strong form, scoring four goals and providing one assist in the opening four games, but has struggled to show his best in recent weeks, dealing with a minor back issue.

Vlahovic’s future at Juventus was uncertain in the summer and the club were open to letting him leave, with teams like Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain interested, but a move away ultimately failed to materialise.

Page six of today’s Gazzetta dello Sport details how Juventus are hoping to reach a total agreement with Vlahovic’s entourage before the end of the calendar year, feeling confident after the latest round of talks.

The two parties have been in close contact since the end of August and the current idea is to extend his contract by a year to 2027, spreading most of his current bonuses over that final 12 months.

A new meeting has been scheduled for after the Derby d’Italia with Inter on November 26 and a new deal is now starting to look a certainty.
