Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic is better than Erling Haaland, the president of the Serbian Football Association has claimed.
The duo, both born in 2000, are considered among the highest-rated young forwards in world football.
However, while Haaland, who recently joined Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund, has 27 goals in 25 matches across European competitions, Vlahovic has only made three appearances on the continental stage.
But Nenad Bjekovic said, regardless, he prefers his compatriot. Asked to compare the two, he told Tuttosport: “Vlahovic is better and more complete than Haaland.
“The Norwegian has devastating power, but Dusan is not inferior: there is also very little difference in their height.
“But the Juventus forward’s variety and styles of player is better. Manchester City and Juventus paid more or less then same fee, including commissions, to sign the two this year from Borussia Dortmund and Fiorentina.”
Haaland shot to prominence when he netted nine goals in Norway’s 12-0 win over Honduras at the U20 World Cup in 2019. He then scored a hat-trick on his Champions League debut for FC Salzburg and has since gone on to break several records at Dortmund.
Vlahovic broke through into the Fiorentina first team in the 2019-20 campaign but it was under Cesare Prandelli in the following season that his goal scoring exploded as he hit 21 in Serie A.
He netted 33 goals in 2021, equalling the Serie A calendar-year goals record set by Cristiano Ronaldo 12 months earlier.

Vlahovic and Haaland are two good players from different football backgrounds, I think only time and faith can actually George.
Vlahovic and Haaland are both great players , but we have to see what happens this year , Vlahovic have more stranghth and shows very smart , Haaland is taller and can have better performance in the air. Let’s see if halland can continue what he did at Bundesliga in premier league or not.

but all of them would take him at Milan in a heartbeat. not that they can afford him now after the oil takeover unsurprisingly collapsed.
both players are good, but Haaland will have it much easier than Vlahovic will, given his manager wants his players attacking as much as possible while Allegri wants his entire team behind the halfway line.
juve have a pretty poor team behind Vlahovic, while Haaland will have better support. also, Haaland is playing in a league where there is no competition for the top 2 teams. so they’ll be raking up huge wins most weeks, which should give Haaland a great chance to score lots of goals. Vlahovic on the other hand, will be feeding off scraps.

yes, Milan are champions of a poor league, well done. probably the worst squad to win the title in 40 years. even worse than that awful Juve squad that won it under Sarri. but we’re not talking about who won the league, are we?
bottom line is, Milan can’t afford anyone like Vlahovic. they’re stuck with freebies and cast-offs and guys ready for retirement when it comes to the center forward position. u would take Vlahovic any day of the week for Milan. don’t pretend u wouldn’t.
