Juventus received a boost with the return of Dusan Vlahovic to training with the rest of the squad, while Federico Chiesa is pushing for a starting spot against Napoli on Friday.

The Bianconeri have won their last eight Serie A games in a row, all without conceding a single goal, and go head-to-head with leaders Napoli at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in the early Week 19 clash.

The good news for coach Max Allegri is that Vlahovic was spotted taking part in a partial training session with the rest of the squad this afternoon.

It is still not clear when he will be available to play, as the on-going groin inflammation has troubled him since the end of October and affected the Serbia international during the World Cup in Qatar too.

Meanwhile, Gleison Bremer should return to the team in Naples, while Chiesa is pushing for a starting spot, but faces competition from Angel Di Maria and Weston McKennie for the wider roles.

It would be Chiesa’s first start since the devastating anterior cruciate ligament tear in January 2022.

The absentee list remains lengthy for the Bianconeri, with Paul Pogba, Vlahovic, Juan Cuadrado, Mattia De Sciglio and Leonardo Bonucci out of action.

Arkadiusz Milik is widely expected to lead the attack against his former club.
