Dusan Vlahovic wants Juventus to ‘rediscover our aggression and determination’ against Frosinone, but insists only Max Allegri can comment on why the trident attack is shelved.

It kicks off at the Allianz Juventus Stadium at 11.30 GMT.

The Bianconeri have struggled recently with just two points from four rounds and only held on to second place because 10-man Milan lost to Monza last week.

“These were not easy weeks considering the results, but we have to turn over a new leaf. The team and I did not think about the recent performances, we focused only on how to play today, as it is fundamental to get three points,” Vlahovic told Sky Sport Italia.

“Frosinone are a very strong team who get a lot of shots on target and always stick to their style of football. We must be aggressive and determined to bring home the three points.”

It was when scoring against Frosinone earlier this season that it sparked a remarkable run of form for both Vlahovic and Juventus. How can they rediscover that spark that allowed them to win seven competitive games in a row?

“I honestly don’t know what happened. I think all the hard work I did finally paid off. Nonetheless, I am not happy considering the opportunity we had, the team results matter more than my goals. We must rediscover winning ways, but also the certainty, aggression and determination that recently have not been up to our usual standards.”

Allegri had tested out a 4-3-3 formation in training this week with Carlos Alcaraz in midfield, but has once again stuck with the 3-5-2 this afternoon. Do the strikers prefer having a trident?

“This is a question for the coach. I am a team man, I am at the disposal of whatever the coach asks of me, so you’d have to ask him. Whatever he says, we do.”
