Juventus strikers Dusan Vlahovic and Arkadiusz Milik have not yet returned to group training after injuries that ruled the pair out of the Bianconeri’s Serie A clash against Atalanta on Sunday evening.
Speaking in his press conference ahead of the Atalanta game, Massimiliano Allegri confirmed that Vlahovic had reported pain in his back, which had kept him out of training for a few days the week prior.
Reports from Gianluca Di Marzio on Tuesday have confirmed that Vlahovic is still carrying out individual work in the gym and that his availability for Saturday’s local derby against Torino is very much in doubt.
Though there is a small chance Vlahovic could still feature in some form at the weekend, it has been said that the situation will be evaluated day-by-day.
Milik, who started and scored the only goal for Juve in their recent Serie A win over Lecce, is also training separately from the rest of the first team squad, having picked up an issue with his calf.
Di Marzio reports that he is expected to return to training with the group in the coming days and is therefore slightly further down the line than Vlahovic in terms of a recovery.
