Dusan Vlahovic could be the first player in history to become Serie A’s Capocannoniere playing with two different clubs in one season.

The 22-year-old will make his Juventus debut against Hellas Verona on Sunday night.

He has joined the Old Lady in an €80m move from Fiorentina, signing a contract until June 2026.

Vlahovic scored 17 goals in 21 appearances with the Tuscans in the first part of the campaign, exactly half of Juventus’ total tally in the first 23 league games.

Lazio‘s Ciro Immobile has also scored 17 Serie A goals so far this season but in 19 appearances.

Massimiliano Allegri will count on Vlahovic’s goals to snatch a top four finish, while Vlahovic could be the first Serie A Capocannoniere to have played with two different clubs in one season.

The Serbia international was the second most prolific striker in Europe’s top 5 leagues in 2021, with 33 goals in 43 games.

Juventus currently sit fifth in the Serie A table, one point off fourth-placed Atalanta.

La Dea has a game in hand and the two sides will meet at the Gewiss Stadium on February 13.
