According to Sky Sport Italia, Viviano will fly out from Sicily this afternoon to undergo a medical in London.

The deal would be a paid loan with option to buy at the end of the season.

Viviano has been a problem for Palermo since Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”10″>Fiorentina turned down their option to buy him on a permanent basis.

A former Italy international with six caps to his name, the 27-year-old is a lifelong Fiorentina supporter who even has a tattoo of the club symbol and called his daughter Viola.

Viviano was heartbroken when the Tuscans did not want to make his loan permanent, but some pundits felt the pressure of playing for his hometown club affected his performance.

He has been linked with several other clubs this summer, including Milan, Torino, Roma and Napoli.
