Bologna goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano admits that it will be emotional to return to Brescia on Saturday.

The 25-year-old Italy international established himself at the Stadio Rigamonti before leaving for Bologna.

"It will be complicated, I admit. I still have those six years in my mind. I imagine that it will be an evening charged with emotions," Viviano said.

"When you find yourself playing against so many friends, the job that awaits you becomes even more difficult.

"From my time at Brescia there is still Arcari, Dallamano, Possanzini, Caracciolo, Bega and Vaas.

"It's my first game against Brescia since I left. I expect a warm reception. I became a footballer and a man at the club. I was 17 when I arrived. I could have gone wherever I wanted, being on a free transfer, but the situation at Brescia was good. They launched young players and I decided to go there.

"For me, Gino Corioni isn't a President. He is a second father, if not a grandfather. At times I call him that for a joke," he concluded.
