Palermo have confirmed that they have integrated former Napoli and Udinese assistant Coach Fabio Viviani into Beppe Iachini’s staff.

Rumours emerged this morning that Maurizio Zamparini had acted to bring in the former Vicenza midfielder and that he had already been presented to the under-pressure players at their training retreat in Friuli.

The Rosanero have now confirmed the move, but report that it has come through the Coach’s request.

“At the request of Coach Giuseppe Iachini and with the approval of the President Maurizio Zamparini, the club integrates into its technical staff the figure of Fabio Viviani,” Palermo state on their official website.

Viviani arrives with experience served as an assistant Coach at Napoli from 2005 to 2009 and Udinese, from 2012 to 2014.
