Sky Sport Italia claims the Viola have met with Zappacosta’s agent Alessandro Lucci, hoping to set up talks with the Blues about a loan deal similar to the one at Roma last year.
The Premier League side, who signed the former Torino full-back for €25m in 2017, are looking for a permanent solution for the Italian.
