Fiorentina could ask Chelsea for a €3m payment after the Mohamed Salah loan was interrupted.
The Viola had agreed in January that a €1m fee would extend Salah’s loan by another season with the option to buy for another €18m in 2016.
However, the Egypt international rejected the move, though the club claims he missed the deadline to exercise that veto.
According to Sport Mediaset, Fiorentina have given up on getting Salah to stay, but do want some sort of remuneration.
