Former Benevento captain Nicolas Viola has medical with Bologna, expected to complete a move to the Rossoblu today.
The 32-year-old has been without a club since his contract with the Streghe expired in June, but SportItalia and Tuttomercatoweb have confirmed Viola has turned up for his medical at Bologna.
Sinisa Mihajlovic will soon be able to add the midfielder to the squad at the Renato Dall’Ara, with Bologna currently eighth in Serie A with 12 points from eight games.
Viola played 118 competitive games with Benevento, scoring 23 goals and contributing 26 assists in the process.
Tuttomercatoweb claims Bologna have prepared a deal until June 2023 for the player, who should sign the contract later today.
