Villarreal and Senegal striker Boulaye Dia has arrived for his transfer to Salernitana, on loan with option to buy for a total €13m.
Sky Sport Italia report that the forward landed at the Capodichino Airport in Naples this afternoon and is heading to nearby Salerno.
He will undergo a medical and sign the paperwork for the contract.
It will be a deal worth €1m for the one-season loan, while Salernitana have an option to make the move permanent for a further €12m.
Dia is 25 years old and plays as a centre-forward, having only joined Villarreal a year ago from Stade Reims at a cost of €12m.
The striker scored seven goals and provided six assists in 35 competitive games for the Yellow Submarine.
He was part of the Senegal squad that won the Africa Cup of Nations in February and has 17 senior caps for his country, scoring two goals.
seems like a good pick up for a small team
