Christian Vieri and Antonio Cassano believe Luciano Spalletti could win the Scudetto with Napoli, but only if President Aurelio De Laurentiis ‘keeps his mouth shut.’
The new coach was appointed this morning to replace Gennaro Gattuso, who took over at Fiorentina.
“If De Laurentiis keeps his mouth shut all year, doesn’t even go to the stadium or wish the players a Merry Christmas, then Spalletti can win the Scudetto in his first season,” said Vieri on his Twitch channel Bobo TV.
“Obviously, as long as all the players remain.”
His friend Cassano had a similarly negative view of De Laurentiis, who also owns Bari.
“Bari should’ve been promoted from Serie C, but they have one problem, they have the same President who is disastrous at Napoli. In two years, he changed coach five times,” added FantAntonio.
