“Vidic chose Inter because he was told that they’d be playing with a four-man defence and a very strong side would be built,” agent Silvano Martina told Gazzetta TV.
“That did not happen immediately and being one of the most representative players in the team he was subjected to excessive criticism.
“In my view, though, he is still the best defender in the Inter squad. In my office I still keep the contract renewal offer from Manchester United, but he made a lifestyle choice when deciding to come to Italy.”
