Roma starlet Nicolò Zaniolo lost his cool after being subbed off and hit back at Lazio fans insulting him with some rude gestures.

The 22-year-old had earned a spot-kick for the Giallorossi and saw Pepe Reina produce a great save to deny him in the second half before being subbed off with less than 15 minutes remaining and Roma pushing for the equaliser.

On his way to the tunnel, he was insulted by a few Lazio fans, so he didn’t hold back and responded with some rude gestures which do not require any explanation.

His reaction was filmed by fans in the stands and posted on social media.

Lazio snatched a 3-2 win at the Stadio Olimpico with goals courtesy of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Pedro and Felipe Anderson.

Zaniolo scored one goal and delivered an assist in seven games across all competitions so far this season.

  1. Todays gesture aside, Zaniolo shouldn’t be on the Italy team anyways. He is always injured.

If we qualify to Qatar and Italy have the objective to play 7 matches in 4 Weeks in extreme heat, he won’t last. No way.

I predict he will be out of football by age 28. Too injury prone.

    Same goes for Stefano Sensi.
