There is a reason Paulo Dybala converted the Roma penalty and then chased down a specific Atalanta player to throw the ball at him.
The incident occurred during this evening’s Serie A showdown at the Stadio Olimpico, when Dybala cancelled out the Teun Koopmeiners opener.
When the referee went to the VAR monitor to award the spot-kick, Dybala was already on the spot waiting to take the penalty.
During this lull, Koopmeiners went over to kick the ball away from the spot, prompting an angry response from the Roma players.
Dybala kept his cool to send Marco Carnesecchi the wrong way, then gathered the ball and looked around until he found Koopmeiners to throw the ball at his back.
La Joya found that revenge was best served cold.

Out of curiosity, can any romanisti or laziali explain to me why Gasperini seems to dislike (if hate is too harsh) both Rome clubs?
Rome really are Italy’s disgrace.
