Arturo Vidal was visibly emotional at his welcome in Rio de Janeiro ahead of a move to Brazilian side Flamengo.
The Chile international is a free agent after his Inter contract expired and he appeared humbled by the amount of supporters who turned out to greet him.
Vidal is a serial title-winner, having only failed to finish the season as champion twice since 2010-11.
From 2012-2015, he won Serie A with Juventus then three with Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga from 2016 to 2018 before he added a LaLiga at Barcelona and was again a title-winner in Italy with Inter.
