Arturo Vidal’s agent is at the Inter headquarters in Milan to discuss a contract termination so he can then join Flamengo.

The Chile international met with Fernando Felicevich at a hotel before the representative arrived at the club offices to negotiate the terms of the agreement.

Vidal is not part of coach Simone Inzaghi’s plans and his contract runs to June 2023, but none of the sides interested are prepared to pay a transfer fee.

With that in mind, Inter are ready to terminate the contract a year early by mutual consent so that he can sign for Flamengo.

Vidal is expected to receive a severance payment, but Inter are still saving on his salary.

Galatasaray and Boca Juniors are also interested in the former Juventus, Barcelona and Bayern Munich midfielder.
