Marcus Thuram inspired Lautaro Martinez’s goal against Bayern Munich with a lovely backheel assist, something he had already produced last season, paving the way for a Hakan Calhanoglu strike.

Inter star Thuram played a key role in the Nerazzurri’s 2-1 win over Bayern Munich in Tuesday’s first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.

The France international contributed to Lautaro Martinez’s opening goal with a stunning backheel pass.

Thuram’s attempt isn’t new to Serie A and Inter fans, as the striker produced the same more than a year ago in a 5-1 away win at Monza.

That day, Thuram practically delivered the final pass in the same style, inspiring Calhanoglu’s second goal in that game.
