Gigi Buffon might be 43 years old, but he proved during last night’s friendly against Sassuolo why Parma believe he can get them back into Serie A.
The legendary shot-stopper and World Cup winner will be playing in Serie B this season after returning to his very first club.
Some might still doubt his capabilities and reactions at this age, considering he turns 44 in January, but SuperGigi showed just what he’s capable of still with a great reaction save on Francesco Caputo during the 3-0 friendly defeat to Sassuolo.

Doubting Gigi because he’s 43 is just prejudice. He’s a fantastic goalkeeper and human and any club would be very lucky to have him.
