Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha gifted Galatasaray a goal in the Europa League with a truly astonishing howler that must be seen to be believed.

The Albania international was getting his first game of the season under Maurizio Sarri and it may well be the last after this own goal.
It seemed the easiest task in the world to tip the ball over the bar from a Manuel Lazzari clearance that had looped up into the air, but Strakosha somehow managed to prod it under the frame of the goal from approximately 5cm out.
As far as goalkeeper errors go, that’s got to be up there… 🙈😅

Four points out of a possible fifteen. Good to see Italian teams off to their usual great start in Europe! I’m afraid it will only get worse….At least they have Serie A to play in where all teams have a chance to win.
