Leonardo Spinazzola was one of the best players at EURO 2020, but the Roma man showed in training he’s still a little rusty after that Achilles tendon rupture after losing a duel to a dummy.
The left-back was a key figure for Italy in last summer’s tournament until the serious injury ruled him out for 10 months.
He made his comeback towards the end of the season and is hoping to be back to his best in 2022-23.
However, Spinazzola joked he is “not quite at 100 per cent” after a comical incident in training where he tried to take on a static opponent – and lost.
