There was tension in the Napoli training session today, as coach Luciano Spalletti sent Victor Osimhen off for dissent.

The players were having a game between ranks at the Castel di Sangro camp in full view of the supporters when Osimhen became enraged at what he thought was a foul from new teammate Leo Ostigard.

The Nigeria international continued to protest so much that after Andre Zambo Anguissa tried to calm him down, Spalletti told him to leave the field.

“You are talking too much, go and have a shower.”

It didn’t help relax the situation, as Osimhen continued the protests even after walking off.

Osimhen no no and no, I disagreed with this your recent altitude that you are putting on right now, you came from the street in a poor background, you were humble and hard working, I believe that is what took you to where you are right now, please don’t deviate from that part, you are still very young and also talented, you have a long way to go, please my dear brother don’t let this altitude affect your career, you are one of my best striker in the world, because you never give up so easily, physically fit and strong with a lot of confidence, please continue in the old ways that pave the path for you
