The former Bodo/Glimt forward joined in January as a free agent and had only a couple of brief substitute appearances before starting this evening against Hellas Verona.
He made it count, running onto a splendid Spinazzola back-heel flick to complete a well-worked quick passing move.
Solbakken is only the third Norwegian to score in Serie A for Roma, after John Arne Riise and John Carew.
