Porto midfielder Sergio Oliveira has just arrived in Rome ahead of his medical with the Giallorossi.

The 29-year-old moves to the Stadio Olimpico on a €1m loan deal with an option to buy for €13m.

He has played 24 games across all competitions with Porto this season, scoring five goals.

He will undergo his medicals with the Giallorossi this morning and is likely to make his Serie A on Sunday against Cagliari.

Sergio Oliveira is Roma‘s second signing in the January transfer window after Ainsley Maitland-Niles who has joined Roma on loan until the end of the season from Arsenal.

  1. Solid player, but midfielders are not what Roma need. Roma need to get rid of Mourinho. Cristante put in no effort after he came on, appalling. But clearly he wasn’t happy coming off the bench, and to be fair the formation without him made no sense. It should be an easy fit their trio. Love Ndombele and his potential, but what does Roma need him for? They need another attacker, a right back, Spinazzola to come back. Maitland-Niles may work out tho.

    But Mourinho out.

  2. The comment above. You didn’t even make a noteworthy point, just vibes and Mourinho out.

    Get a grip.

  3. if you were a roma fan you would know a dm is roma’s biggest need, maybe not oliveira but a dm is crucial

  4. you Mou haters are very fun. whats wrong with Mou, he is arguably the best manager in the game now. if you can’t see it then 🤗
