Milan left-back Theo Hernandez usually goes viral for his marauding forward runs and sensational goals, but he made a goal-saving tackle for France against Belgium at EURO 2024.

The Round of 16 tie was kept goalless in the second half thanks to an extraordinary challenge that Theo Hernandez made when Yannick Carrasco was clear on goal, having pounced on the William Saliba error.

A mistake in this situation could’ve seen France concede a penalty and potentially a red card for the defender too, but he made the tackle stick perfectly.

Theo then celebrated by chest-bumping his Milan and France teammate Mike Maignan.

The 26-year-old joined the Rossoneri from Real Madrid for €22.8m in 2019 and quickly became one of the best left-backs in the world.

He is under contract at San Siro until June 2026, but has been heavily linked with a potential move to Bayern Munich this summer.
