Italy international Gianluca Scamacca scored his first Premier League goal this evening, a scorcher from the edge of the area for West Ham United against Wolves.

The striker had already found the net twice in the Europa Conference League since his transfer from Sassuolo to the Hammers.

That deal was worth €36m plus €6m in bonuses and a 10 per cent sell-on fee.

Scamacca broke his Premier League duck with a ferocious right-foot finish from the edge of the area, as a clearance came to him with a slight bounce that set it up perfectly for the half-volley.
