Sampdoria midfielder Abdelhamid Sabiri scored a stunning goal from just inside his own half in the pre-season friendly against Beşiktaş.

The former German under-21 international picked up the ball just inside his half and aimed an inch-perfect effort over the goalkeeper’s reach and just underneath the crossbar.

Sabiri, who was with Huddersfield Town during their two seasons in the Premier League, joined Samp from Ascoli at the start of last season.

The match finished 1-1 with ex-Burnley forward Wout Weghorst equalising for the Turkish side.
