Roma have completed the signing of defender Zeki Celik from Lille.
The Giallorossi announced the 25-year-old has joined on a four-year deal which will run until 2026.
Celik said : “It’s an honour for me to play for such a big club; I have big ambitions and I want to help this team be successful.
“I feel focused and ready – I will never let up and you will always see me fighting for everything out there on the pitch.”
As always when announcing a new signing, Roma’s English Twitter account posted a video of the news alongside their remarkable missing children campaign in which they show images of lost children from around the world.
Celik won the 2021 Ligue 1 title with Lille and has 32 Turkey caps, playing all three of their matches at Euro 2020.
Am I correct in thinking Romagnoli is still not signed by anyone?
