Roma posted a short video of today’s training session at Trigoria, showing, among other things, José Mourinho and Nicolo Zaniolo talking and smiling together.
Zaniolo is in the spotlight after Roma director Tiago Pinto said he ‘can’t guarantee’ that the 22-year-old will remain at the Stadio Olimpico next season.
Juventus and Tottenham have been linked with securing his services in the summer, although his current deal expires in June 2024.
Roma probably tried to ease the pressure on the Italy international by posting a video of today’s training session where he appears talking and smiling with coach José Mourinho.
Knowing the coach’s attention to every small detail, especially when it comes to exposure on the media, it may be no coincidence that the Giallorossi wanted to show that Zaniolo is in a good mood and entirely focused on Roma despite the recent rumours about his future.
