Jose Mourinho was drenched with champagne by his Roma players and then effectively kidnapped, as they gate-crashed his press conference after winning the Conference League.
This was the first UEFA trophy for the Giallorossi, who at most had won the Fairs Cup in 1961, and had lost the European Cup Final in 1984 and the UEFA Cup Final in 1991.
As Mourinho was answering questions in the press room in Tirana following a 1-0 victory over Feyenoord, he was drenched and ambushed by players including Gianluca Mancini, Nicola Zalewski, Leonardo Spinazzola and Lorenzo Pellegrini.
They effectively kidnapped their coach and took him away to continue the celebrations.
