Video: Roma mascot mocks Kanye West-Inter appearance, adding to Milan jibe

Roma and club mascot Romolo are the latest Serie A representatives to take a swipe at rapper Kanye West after his appearance in the Inter stands during the Nerazzurri’s Champions League round of 16 clash against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.

The US-rapper has been in the city of Milan this week for the Champions League match and a concert at the Assago Forum.

Inter supporters were recently credited on West’s collaborative album with Ty Dolla Sign, ‘Vultures 1’, specifically on the tracks ‘Stars’ and ‘Carnival’.

While in the San Siro stands on Tuesday, West appeared alongside his partner Bianca Censori wearing a full-face covering, as he has done in numerous public appearances in recent years.

Ahead of their clash against Feyenoord in the Champions League, Roma released a video via their official social media channels, showing club mascot Romolo donning a Kanye-inspired full-face mask and black puffer jacket.

The stunt came just a day after Milan’s go at mocking West and Inter. The Rossoneri also filmed several members of their staff wearing face masks around the club’s headquarters, joking that there had been several ‘special guests’ at Casa Milan on Wednesday.
