Former Middlesbrough forward Fabrizio Ravanelli helped launch their 2022-23 kit, using his iconic celebration.
The ex-Italy international left Juventus to join Boro in 1996 and quickly became a sensation when he scored a hat-trick on his debut.
Yet, even more memorable, was his celebration where he ran off, putting his shirt over his head – a move he has recreated for this kit launch.
Ravanelli only spent a season at Boro, then newly-promoted, but helped them reached two cup finals and the campaign ended with relegation which saw him leave for French side Marseille.
He won two Serie A titles, at Juve and Lazio, as well as the Champions League with the Bianconeri in 1996 – scoring in the final.

Such memories of him as a youngster. Eye of the tiger.
