Rafael Leao and Daniel Maldini reunited in Empoli–Milan on Sunday and the Portuguese star jokingly fell to the ground when pushed by his former teammate in the second half.
Maldini and Leao won a Serie A title at Milan in 2021-22 and are still close friends, as they showed during Sunday’s meeting between the Rossoneri and Empoli at the Stadio Castellani Computer Gross Arena.
A video published by La Gazzetta dello Sport shows the Milan star falling to the ground after a light Maldini push in the second half, as to pretend his former teammate tried to hurt him. The Milan winger had just earned a free kick in central midfield.
Maldini joined Empoli on loan last summer and has made seven Serie A appearances this term.
